Applicants who are Canadian citizens and Permanent residents must submit separate application forms for admission and the “Lawrence Dewan Chair in Philosophy and Saint Thomas Aquinas scholarship”. The deadline to submit the application form for the merit-based scholarship is August 17, 2021. Admission application process:
- Submit the online application form through Dominicus
- Upload a pdf of writing sample (1500 words) to Dominicus
- Upload a pdf of letter of intent – an intended area of specialization for your thesis
- Upload a pdf of curriculum vitae
- Upload a pdf/jpeg of passport-sized photo
- Mail the original transcripts from all prior post-secondary institutions in sealed envelopes to the Registrar’s Office, Room 310
- Request your two referees to send a letter of recommendation to the Registrar’s Office
- Pay $50 processing fee online, by mail, or in person. The payment options can be found here.

The “Lawrence Dewan Chair in Philosophy and Saint Thomas Aquinas scholarship”:
- Complete and return the application form to the Office of the Registrar either in person or by mail.
- Attach a letter of intent on demonstrated research interest in the subject of Saint Thomas Aquinas works
- Include proof of Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- If original transcripts have already been mailed to the Registrar’s Office with the admissions application, please include copies of transcripts from all prior post-secondary institutions
All documents need to be sent to the Office of the Registrar (Room 310)
